The Daughters of the King is a national, Spiritual Order, which was organized
in 1885 in New York City. The Junior Daughters was instituted in 1896 in Washington, D.C.
A “Daughter” pledges herself to a life-long program of prayer, service and evangelism,
dedicated to the extension of Christ’s Kingdom and the spiritual life of her Parish.
The chapters may not raise money in the name of the Order, but they do make annual,
voluntary offerings to two funds, namely: The Self-denial Fund used for women missionaries;
and The Master’s Fund is used for women training for church related careers.
We meet the 2nd Saturday of each month at 1:00 pm.
